The purpose of this informational briefing is for the City and County of Honolulu Department of Emergency Management to provide the Committee with an overview of its Hazard Mitigation Plan, the mitigation planning process, and after-action reports regarding recent tsunami and wildfire threats on the island of O‘ahu, and how lessons learned from these recent events will inform future emergency management responses, including but not limited to communication and evacuation plans.

Invitees include Director Dr. Randal A Collins, Department of Emergency Management, City and County of Honolulu, and his designees.

No public testimony will be accepted.
