The purpose of this informational briefing is to identify where Kupuna Care funding is being spent. We will also address the current status of overdue regulations that govern the allocation and management of these funds. These regulations are crucial for maximizing the impact of Kupuna Care and ensuring its fair distribution statewide.

·         Hawaii Island Office of Aging: Horace Farr – Administrator

·         Maui Island Office of Aging: Rowena Dagdag-Andaya - Administrator

Please note that each presenter will have fifteen minutes to present so that there will time for questions and answers.

     II.        Status of overdue regulations on using Kupuna Care funds

a.     Current written regulations

b.     Implementation of regulations

   III.        Inter-Island Kupuna Care Update

a.     Identify gaps in each island care needs

b.     Island breakdown of successes/improvements
