"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO KUPUNA HOUSING,"

The purpose of this measure is to extend the sunset date for the State Rent Supplement Program for Kupuna to June 30, 2028.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Hawaii Public Housing Authority; Executive Office on Aging; Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi; AARP Hawaiʻi; The Institute for Human Services, Inc.; LIMBY Hawaiʻi; and four individuals.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 703, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
