"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO FLOOD MITIGATION,"

The purpose of this measure is to address flooding in residential areas by requiring the Board of Land and Natural Resources to establish a grant program to improve drainage systems, support mitigation measures, and provide resources for counties, local communities, and homeowners.

Your Committee received comments on this measure from the Department of Land and Natural Resources.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 1359, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
