The purpose of this decision making meeting is to insert substantive provisions into the following short form bill. A public hearing will be scheduled at a later date, at which point testimony will be accepted.
RELATING TO THE STATE BUDGET. Proposed SD1: Appropriates moneys to the Department of Budget and Finance for fiscal year 2026 to increase the mass transit special fund expenditure ceiling. (Proposed SD1)

RELATING TO GOVERNMENT. Sets the retirement allowance for a member who has credited service as a judge after 1/31/2025, irrespective of age, to 1.75 per cent of the judge’s average final compensation for each year of credited service as a judge. Reduces the minimum number of years of credited service qualified Tier 2 Employee’s Retirement System members must have to be eligible for vested benefit status for service retirement allowance purposes from ten years to five years. Increases employer contributions to offset the resulting liability. (Proposed SD1)
