The Legislature is accepting written, videoconference, and in-person testimony at public hearings.
A live stream of all Senate Standing Committee meetings will be available on the Senate YouTube Channel.
A M E N D E D A G E N D A
The Senate Committee on Ways and Means and the House will conduct a joint informational briefing on Chapter 42F, Hawaii Revised Statutes, grant applications. This information gathering briefing will be conducted in-person at the State Capitol Auditorium and via Zoom. It is highly recommended that participants attend virtually.
1. Applicants are invited to provide information via Zoom or In-person. Zoom applicants are required to login and rename themselves as their organization by 1:30PM.
2. Instructions regarding participation, and if needed, the Zoom link to participate remotely, will be emailed to each organization to the email address provided in the application. The Legislature will not be responsible for bad connections on the testifier’s end;
3. Only one (1) representative per applicant will be allowed to participate, regardless of the number of applications submitted by any applicant;
4. Each applicant will be allowed no more than one (1) minute to provide information;
5. On the day of the briefing, in-person participants will need to check in with staff at the Auditorium immediately prior to the briefing;
6. Zoom participants will be called on after all in-person participants have spoken;
7. As this is an informational briefing, no written testimony is being accepted;
8. If you would like to distribute information directly to the members of the committees beyond your application, you can do so directly to each legislator. Legislator's email can be found on the capitol website;
9. Applicants will be invited to participate in the following order:
a. In-person Neighbor Island applicants from Z to A (see list below)
b. In-person Oahu applicants from Z to A (see list below)
c. All Zoom participants from Z to A order found on the Capitol website
Please be advised the Joint Committee will recess from 11:00AM to 1:00PM for the members to attend their respective floor sessions.
