The Legislature is accepting written, videoconference, and in-person testimony at public hearings.

RELATING TO THE ARTS. Establish a Performing Arts Special Fund to be used for the coordination, planning, promotion, marketing, and execution of performing arts events and to be funded by a percentage of all ticket sales from concerts held at state venues. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD3)

RELATING TO THE STATE FOUNDATION ON CULTURE AND THE ARTS. Establishes the Performing Arts Grants Program and Performing Arts Grants Special Fund to support performing arts in the State. Clarifies the scope of the State Foundation on Culture and the Arts' responsibilities to include the coordination, planning, promotion, marketing, and execution of performing arts events. Amends the funding sources for the State Art Museum. Amends the amounts required to be transferred by agencies into the Works of Art Special Fund and the allowable uses of the Special Fund. Appropriates funds. Effective 7/1/3000. (HD2)

· The number of oral testifiers and/or time allotted to each testifier may be limited by the Chair when necessary to adhere to the committee hearing schedule. We may not be able to accommodate everyone who requests to testify orally.
· Testifiers for this hearing will be limited to 2 minutes each.
