The Subject of this Informational Briefing is to Examine Clearance Rates Relating to Violent Crimes and Understanding What Resources are Needed for Law Enforcement.

·         To understand the current status of clearance rates from State Law Enforcement and local county police departments.

·         To better understand what challenges are being faced, and how agencies can work together by understanding what resources are needed.

 

Presentation Regarding National and Statewide Clearance Rates by:

·         Marshall Clement – Director, Council of State Governments Justice Center.

·         State Department of Law Enforcement
