RELATING TO PROPERTY.

Allows a person who discovers a recorded discriminatory restrictive covenant to take certain actions without liability, to invalidate the covenant.  Defines discriminatory restrictive covenant.  (SD1)

RELATING TO HOTELS.

Requires hotelkeepers to provide adequate notice of service disruptions to third-party vendors and prospective and current guests under certain conditions.  Prohibits hotelkeepers from imposing any fee, penalty, or other charge and from retaining any deposit of a guest who cancels a reservation if a service disruption is likely to exist during the period of the reservation.  Requires any hotelkeeper that violates or causes another person to violate this Act to forfeit to the injured party three times the amount of the sum charged in excess of what the hotelkeeper is entitled.  (SD1)

Requires hotelkeepers to provide adequate notice of strikes and lockouts to guests and third-party vendors under certain conditions.  Allows for recovery of damages by injured parties.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Provides that fee simple absolute title of a privately owned highway, road, alley, street, way, lane, bikeway, bridge, or trail is deemed transferred to adjacent property owners or the community association if certain conditions are met.

RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION.

Prohibits businesses from offering, displaying, or advertising any price of a live-event tickets or short-term lodging without clearly and conspicuously disclosing the maximum total of all fees or charges; provided that government charges, shipping charges, and fees or charges for optional goods or services may be excluded.  Requires businesses to disclose clearly and conspicuously certain information, including the final amount of payment, before the consumer consents to pay for the live-event ticket or short-term lodging.  Establishes that misrepresentation of any fees or charges in offers, displays, or advertisements for live-event tickets or short-term lodging by businesses constitutes an unfair or deceptive practice.  (SD1)

RELATING TO LICENSE PLATES.

Prohibits the operation of a motor vehicle with, possession, purchase, installation, sale, offer for sale, or distribution of license plate flipping devices.  Establishes a $2,000 fine for each separate violation.

RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION.

Prohibits the sale of tickets at higher price than the original price charged by the primary venue ticket provider for events held in the State.  Repeals provisions relating to ticket brokers.  (SD1)
