RELATING TO CONDOMINIUMS.

Requires certain managing agents to notify each unit owner and the Real Estate Commission when a condominium association that the agent manages fails to meet budget and replacement reserves reporting requirements.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD1)

RELATING TO BUSINESS REGULATION.

Requires any products labeled, marketed, or sold as "poi" to contain a label stating whether the poi product is made wholly from kalo grown in the State or from kalo sourced outside the State.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD1)

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION.

Allows school staff and agents trained by a health care professional to volunteer to administer medication to students at Department of Education public schools under certain conditions.  Clarifies who may prescribe medication to be administered to students in schools.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD1)

RELATING TO PHARMACISTS.

Beginning 7/1/2026, mandates reimbursement for services provided by participating registered pharmacists practicing within their scope of practice by private and public health plans in the State and requires the health plans to recognize pharmacists licensed in the State as participating providers.  Effective 12/31/2050.  (HD1)

RELATING TO PHARMACISTS.

Authorizes a registered pharmacist under contract with a covered entity for purposes of the federal 340B Drug Pricing Program to supervise the filling or receipt of a prescription via telehealth in certain circumstances.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD1)

Status

RELATING TO RECYCLING.

Expands the scope of electronic devices to include electronic device peripherals and certain legacy devices.  Excludes persons who manufacture only electronic device peripherals and no other electronic devices from the definition of manufacturer.  Requires manufacturers' recycling plans to describe communication efforts with the State and counties to facilitate consumer education efforts.  Repeals the requirement that recycling plans be implemented and fully operational by 1/1/2023 in order for manufacturer collaboration authority to apply.  Extends manufacturer recycling goals to 2027.  Requires additional information to be included in manufacturers' reports containing information for calendar years 2025, 2026, and 2027.  Requires collectors to report certain information regarding recyclers and refurbishers and allows the Department of Health to require submission of bills of lading and recycler receiving reports.  Requires a report to the Legislature.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD1)

RELATING TO AGRICULTURAL LANDS.

Requires that lands within the agricultural district with class B or C soils that have solar energy facilities must also obtain certification from the Department of Agriculture that the lands are also used for a farming operation.  Effective 7/1/3000.  (HD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW

 

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing.  Testimony received after this time will be stamped late and left to the discretion of the chair to consider.  While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may not be processed.

 

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website.  This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.

 

The chair may institute a per-testifier time limit.

 

Committees meeting in the morning must adjourn prior to the day's Floor Session.  Therefore, due to time constraints, not all testifiers may be provided an opportunity to offer verbal comments.  However, written submissions will be considered by the committee.

 

Please refrain from profanity or uncivil behavior.  Violations may result in ejection from the hearing without the ability to rejoin.

 

For remote testifiers, the House will not be responsible for bad connections on the testifier's end.
