RELATING TO AIR FILTERS.

Prohibits the sale and use of disposable air filters beginning January 1, 2030.  Requires the State to establish reusable air filters as the new standard.

RELATING TO THE AQUACULTURE INVESTMENT TAX CREDIT.

For taxable years beginning after 12/31/2025, provides an aquaculture investment tax credit for investments into a qualified aquaculture business.

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO AQUACULTURE.

Authorizes the Division of Animal Industry of the Department of Agriculture to adopt, amend, and repeal rules to develop an assessment and approval process to import and move aquatic livestock in the State.  Requires the Aquaculture Program to develop a risk-based framework and biocontainment standards for the aquatic livestock assessment and approval process.  Makes appropriations.

SB 184

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO THE DEPOSIT BEVERAGE CONTAINER PROGRAM.

Increases the deposit and refund value for beverage containers from 5 cents to 10 cents under the deposit beverage container program.

RELATING TO TAXATION.

Creates an income tax credit for transportation costs incurred by certain taxpayers who ship agricultural products and inputs between counties.  Applies to taxable years beginning after 12/31/2025.
