Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.B. No. 989, H.D. 1, entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO PLANS,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to:

(1) Update the requirements for plans filed with the Registrar's Office;

(2) Require the filing fees to be set pursuant to rules adopted by the Department of Accounting and General Services; and

(3) Authorize the Department of Accounting and General Services to approve the format of plans and drawing scales.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Department of Accounting and General Services.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 989, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
