"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES,"

The purpose of this measure is to appropriate funds to increase the funding for Medicaid in-home services, conditioned on the Department of Human Services obtaining the maximum federal matching funds.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Executive Office on Aging; Disability and Communication Access Board; State Council on Developmental Disabilities; AARP Hawaiʻi; Hawaiʻi Children's Action Network Speaks!; Hawaii Chapter of the Home Care Association of America; AlohaCare; and one individual. Your Committee received comments on this measure from the Department of Human Services.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 702, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
