Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.B. No. 1169, H.D. 1, entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII CONFERENCE CENTER REVOLVING FUND,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to:

(1) Establish the University of Hawaii Conference Center Revolving Fund to facilitate the administration of conference center programs among various campuses and operating units of the University of Hawaii System;

(2) Repeal the Conference Center Revolving Fund for the University of Hawaii at Hilo and Community College Conference Center Revolving Fund and lapse all unencumbered funds to the University of Hawaii Conference Center Revolving Fund; and

(3) Appropriate funds out of the University of Hawaii Conference Center Revolving Fund.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the University of Hawaiʻi System.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 1169, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
