relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of the nineteenth senatorial district.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
1. Pearl City High School
A. Construction of an integrated academy, multi-use facility shared between Pearl City high school and Momilani elementary school.

SECTION 2. The appropriations made for the capital improvement projects authorized by this Act shall not lapse at the end of the fiscal year for which the appropriations are made; provided that all moneys from the appropriations that are unencumbered as of June 30, 2026, shall lapse as of that date.
SECTION 3. The sums appropriated for the respective capital improvement projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended for the purposes of this Act as follows:
(1) The sums appropriated in items 1 through 13 shall be expended by the department of education; and
(2) The sum appropriated in item 14 shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2024.
