A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO HEALTH.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2023-2024 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2024-2025 for the operation of mobile clinics providing medication-assisted treatment throughout the State; provided that the mobile clinics shall be staffed with medical professionals, including behavioral therapists trained in cognitive-behavioral and contingency management interventions.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect on June 30, 3000.
