A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR SCHOOLS IN THE FORTY-FIRST REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2023-2024:
1. James Campbell high school, Oahu
Construction for an athletic complex, including locker room under bleachers, fitness and weight room, relocated play courts, ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances; and alternatives: concession stand, restroom, and visitor bleachers.

2. Ilima intermediate school, Oahu
Design, and construction for a new sixth grade building; ground and site improvements; equipment and appurtenances.

Plan, design and construction for a covered outdoor recreational classroom and educational facility.

Upgrade of water system, security lighting, fencing around school, and appurtenances.

Upgrade of facilities.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of education for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2023.
