HONORING CULTURAL PRACTITIONER TROY ALLEN KIMEONA KANE FOR HIS CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE REVITALIZATION AND PERPETUATION OF NATIVE HAWAIIAN UHAU HUMU PŌHAKU (HAWAIIAN DRY-SET MASONRY) KNOWLEDGE.
WHEREAS, Native Hawaiian uhau humu pōhaku practitioner TROY ALLEN KIMEONA KANE has taught students of all ages from across the State of Hawai‘i as well as from Canada, Aotearoa, and Palau in uhau humu pōhaku while perpetuating ‘ōlelo Hawai‘i and cultural protocol, such as oli and mālama ‘āina classes; and

WHEREAS, since April 2019, TROY ALLEN
