The purpose of this information briefing will be to discuss the Audit of the Department of Public Safety Report No. 22-05, published in June of 2022 regarding the shift relief factor calculations the Department of Public Safety uses to determine appropriate levels of staffing at correctional facilities in the State of Hawaii. Representatives from the following Hawaii State agencies will be present for the informational briefing;
Max Otani, Director, Department of Public Safety
Les Kondo, State Auditor, Office of the Auditor
No public testimony will be accepted.
