The House Committee on Finance and the Senate Committee on Ways and Means will conduct a joint informational briefing on Chapter 42F, Hawaii Revised Statutes, grant applications.

 

Applicants are not required to participate in the joint briefing, and all applications will be considered regardless of whether applicants participate. Due to the volume of applications received, and to maximize efficiency, the following rules will be applied during the informational briefing:

 

1.       Instructions regarding participation as well as the link to participate will be forwarded to each organization 48 hours in advance to the email address provided on the applications;

2.       Only one (1) representative per applicant will be allowed to speak, regardless of the number of applications submitted by any applicant;

3.       Each representative will be allowed no more than two (2) minutes to provide information; and

4.       Applicants will be heard in the order in which applications have been posted here: https://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/session2022/2022GIA-Apps/

 

Please be advised that, if necessary, the Joint Committee will recess in order for the members to attend their respective floor sessions.
