Your Committee on Health, Human Services, & Homelessness, to which was referred H.C.R. No. 155 entitled:

"HOUSE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION URGING THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU AND HONOLULU POLICE DEPARTMENT TO ADDRESS THE ONGOING HOUSELESSNESS CRISIS AND DEVELOP SOLUTIONS FOR PROVIDING CARE AND SERVICES FOR THESE INDIVIDUALS WHILE ENSURING COMMUNITY SAFETY,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure to urge the City and County of Honolulu and Honolulu Police Department to address the ongoing houselessness crisis and develop solutions for providing care and services for these individuals while ensuring community safety.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from one individual. Your Committee received comments on this measure from Hawaii State Governor's Coordinator on Homelessness.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Health, Human Services, & Homelessness that is attached to this report, your Committee concurs with the intent and purpose of H.C.R. No. 155 and recommends its adoption.
