A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO GOVERNMENT CONTRACTS.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. Chapter 103, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to part I to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

"§103-    Report to the legislature. All departments and agencies shall report the names of entities awarded a contract with a total contract value of $           and the criteria used to select the awardee to the legislature no later than thirty days before a contract is effectuated."

SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2112.
