A BILL FOR AN ACT

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. Chapter 266, Hawaii Revised Statutes, is amended by adding a new section to be appropriately designated and to read as follows:

"§266-    Transfer of funds. Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, the director of transportation may, at any time, transfer funds between program identification numbers within the harbors division; provided that the aggregate amount of funds transferred pursuant to this section shall not exceed $           in a fiscal year."

SECTION 2. New statutory material is underscored.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2050.
