The committee on Education will receive an update from the Department of Education on Act 169, 2018 (SB2051), that allows the Department to create commercial enterprises by individual schools, career pathways, academy, or program.

 

The committee will also hear from representatives of Searider Productions on their commercialism efforts and representatives from the Hawaii Academies group.

 

No public testimony will be accepted.
