A M E N D E D  A G E N D A

The special committee will convene to assess and advise the Senate regarding an update from the Department of Health (DOH) on prevention and containment of COVID-19 clusters.  The committee will also get an update on the DOH dashboard - specifically how the cluster data is obtained and used to identify outbreaks; how it helps prevent surges; and ultimately how the data can assist the State to open safely and remain open.  The committee is deeply concerned about the holiday surge.

In addition to the COVID-19 clusters and the DOH dashboard, the committee would like to discuss the following:

• The Safe Travels Program;
• The State's plan to distribute vaccines;
• The Center for Disease Control's (CDC) recommendation of a second test upon arrival to the State; and
• The CDC's recommendation of shortening the quarantine period from 14 days to 10 days.     

The special committee will be meeting with the following:
