The purpose of this informational briefing is to hear from the Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA) and The Retirement Housing Foundation (RHF) on their School Street Redevelopment Project. With our elderly population growing at a significant rate, the HPHA and RHF will look to potentially develop a mixed-use, multi-phase project to create eight hundred (800) much needed affordable elderly rental units, a new thirty thousand (30,000) square foot central administrative office facility for the HPHA and approximately ten thousand (10,000) square feet of commercial/retail space.
No public testimony will be accepted.
