RELATING TO PRESCRIPTION DRUGS.

Proposed HD1:  Establishes the Drug Disposal Program, administered by the Department of the Attorney General, to dispose of prescription and over-the-counter drugs in a safe, secure, and environmentally friendly manner.  Establsihes the Drug Disposal Special Fund and appropriates funds.  Effective July 1, 2050. (SB808 SD1 HD1 PROPOSED)

RELATING TO HEALTH.

Establishes a task force within the Department of Health to identify therapies and home- and community-based care services that may benefit persons having fetal alcohol spectrum disorders, including therapies and treatments that may benefit them as adults.  Requires the task force to recommend any necessary policy changes, rule changes, or legislation to increase access to these therapies and services.  Requires a report to the Legislature.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD2)

RELATING TO THE MENTAL HEALTH AND SUBSTANCE ABUSE SPECIAL FUND.

Authorizes the mental health and substance abuse special fund to be used for certain capital improvements.  Requires the Department of Health to identify, among other things, capital improvement projects that should be made with moneys from the mental health and substance abuse special fund to improve the continuum of care for behavioral health and submit a report to the Legislature.  Repeals on 6/30/2025.  Effective 7/1/2050.  (SD2)
