RELATING TO TOURISM.

Prohibits tour vehicle operators and tour aircraft operations from conducting commercial activity on Sunday in any county of the State.  Establishes penalties for violations.

RELATING TO GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS REDUCTION.

Requires the Hawaii State Energy Office to conduct a study to provide recommendations for a comprehensive approach to the development of electric vehicle infrastructure.  Appropriates moneys.

      Status & Testimony

RELATING TO TOUR AIRCRAFTS.

Requires verification that an applicant for a tour aircraft permit fitted their aircraft with Federal Aviation Administration approved flotation equipment.  Requires verification that an applicant for a tour aircraft permit equipped their aircraft with and uses during operation an automatic dependent surveillance-broadcast system.  Requires tour aircraft operators to comply with the National Transportation Safety Board safety recommendations.  Prohibits any tour aircraft operator from operating an aircraft near a residential property.
