RELATING TO THE HAWAII TECHNOLOGY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION. Prohibits a company from receiving a grant in consecutive years under the manufacturing development program. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO TAX CREDITS. Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to make a public disclosure identifying the names of the taxpayers who are receiving tax credits and the total amount of tax credit received for specific economic activities. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO TAXATION OF REAL ESTATE INVESTMENT TRUSTS. Disallows dividends paid deduction for real estate investment trusts, except for real estate investment trusts that provide affordable housing in the State. Effective 7/1/2050. Applies to taxable years beginning after 12/31/2020. Sunsets 12/31/2023. (SD1)

RELATING TO THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS, ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT, AND TOURISM. Makes an appropriation to the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to support sister state relations. Effective 7/1/2051. (SD2)

RELATING TO FOOD SAFETY. Appropriates funds to the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to provide education and support to local businesses regarding compliance with the federal Food and Drug Administration's industry guidance on colored sea salt. Requires private industry businesses to collectively pay 50% of the cost to conduct and submit to the federal Food and Drug Administration any research, studies, or analysis required for federal Food and Drug Administration approval of color additives used in Hawaii sea salt. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO A FOOD HUB PILOT PROGRAM. Requires the Department of Agriculture to establish a 5-year food hub pilot program to increase access to local food. Provides for the award of grant funding to qualified applicants wishing to establish or expand a food hub. Requires reports to the Legislature. Makes an appropriation. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)
