Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.B. No. 2217, H.D. 1, entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO THE STADIUM AUTHORITY,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to broaden the representation of the nine-member Stadium Authority by adding two members to the Stadium Authority to consist of one resident each for the areas broadly encompassing:

(1) Aiea and Halawa; and

(2) Foster Village, Crosspointe, and Alii Plantation.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Stadium Authority and Aliamanu-Salt Lake-Foster Village Neighborhood Board No. 18.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 2217, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
