Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred H.B. No. 2099, H.D. 1, entitled:

"A BILL FOR AN ACT RELATING TO THE EXECUTIVE OFFICE ON AGING,"

begs leave to report as follows:

The purpose of this measure is to adjust the appropriation amount and amend the description in Act 127, Session Laws of Hawaii 2019, for the appropriation for the Alzheimer's disease and related dementia services coordinator within the Executive Office on Aging.

Your Committee received testimony in support of this measure from the Executive Office on Aging; Hawaii County Advisory Committee on Aging; Alzheimer's Association, Aloha Chapter; Nimitz Business Center; Manoa Cottage; and eight individuals.

As affirmed by the record of votes of the members of your Committee on Finance that is attached to this report, your Committee is in accord with the intent and purpose of H.B. No. 2099, H.D. 1, and recommends that it pass Third Reading.
