A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to health.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. The following sum, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2020-2021.

1. Maui memorial medical center, Maui Plans, land acquisition, design, construction, and equipment for structure improvements for Maui memorial medical center.

Total funding $6,250,000

SECTION 2. The sum appropriated for the capital project set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the department of health for the purposes of this Act.

SECTION 3. The sum appropriated by section 1 of this Act shall not be released unless the sum is matched on a dollar-for-dollar basis by one or more private entities.
SECTION 4. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2020.
