A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to the HAWAII technology development corporation.
BE IT
ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The legislature finds that the Hawaii technology development corporation is a key state agency in developing and supporting the manufacturing industry in the State. The legislature believes that the continuation of the manufacturing development program administered by the Hawaii technology development corporation is of great importance in supporting the manufacturing industry.
SECTION 2. There is appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii the sum of $ or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2019-2020 and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary for fiscal year 2020-2021 for the purpose of continuing the operations and administration of the manufacturing development program.
The sums appropriated shall be expended by the Hawaii technology development corporation for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
