A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE FORTY-FIRST REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2019-2020:
1. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Ewa Beach performing arts center, Oahu
Plans, land acquisition, design, construction, and equipment for phase one of a new performing arts center; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

Construction $20,000,000

Total funding $21,600,000
B. James Campbell high school, Oahu
Design, construction, and equipment for a new athletics complex including a girl's athletic locker room and restroom facilities; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

Construction $12,000,000
Equipment $250,000
Total funding $12,500,000
C. James Campbell high school, Oahu
Plans, land acquisition, design, construction, and equipment for a new athletics complex including weight rooms, a synthetic track and field, baseball/softball fields with dugouts, batting cages, a scoreboard, a press box, restroom facilities, and a concession stand; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
