A BILL FOR AN ACT
relating to capital improvement projects for the benefit of THE Forty-eighth REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT
ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The director of finance is authorized to issue general obligation bonds in the sum of $25,169,000 or so much thereof as may be necessary and the same sum or so much thereof as may be necessary is appropriated for fiscal year 2020-2021 for the purpose of capital improvement projects for the forty-eighth representative district, as follows:
Plans, design, construction, and equipment for improvements.

The sum appropriated for this capital improvement project shall be expended by the department of accounting and general services.
2. Ahuimanu elementary school
Plans, design, construction, and equipment for an Americans with Disabilities Act-accessible pathway.

Total funding $300,000
The sum appropriated for this capital improvement project shall be expended by the department of education.

Design and construction for an agripharmatech bioprocessing facility.

Design and construction for exterior repairs and replacement of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning/fume hood system for Hale ‘Imiloa.

The sum appropriated for this capital improvement project shall be expended by the university of Hawaii.
15. Windward community college
Design and construction for replacement of the main backflow preventer for the campus.

The sum appropriated for this capital improvement project shall be expended by the university of Hawaii.
SECTION 2. The appropriation made for the capital improvement projects authorized by this Act shall not lapse at the end of the fiscal year for which the appropriation is made; provided that all moneys from the appropriation unencumbered as of June 30, 2022, shall lapse as of that date.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2020.
