A BILL FOR AN ACT

relating to the stadium authority.

BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:

SECTION 1. (a) The governor shall issue an executive order for the State to obtain old stadium park on Oahu, TMK 1‑2‑7-008-002-0000, from the city and county of Honolulu and place that property under the authority and control of the stadium authority for the purposes of developing a new stadium on Oahu.

(b) The governor shall submit a report to the legislature no later than twenty days prior to the convening of the regular sessions of 2020 and 2021 on the progress of issuing the executive order pursuant to subsection (a).

SECTION 2. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
