RELATING TO TRANSPORTATION.

Requires the posting of depth gauge signs on any portion of a public highway that lies within a special flood hazard area and is prone to flooding in a manner consistent with the Federal Highway Administration's Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices.  Appropriation.  (HB304 HD2)

RELATING TO PARKING FOR DISABLED PERSONS.

Limits the exemption from parking fees to drivers with a disability who are unable to operate a parking meter or pay station because of the driver's disability and who display a distinguishing parking device, code, permit, or decal.  Clarifies time limits applicable to the exemption.  Prohibits the unauthorized sale or purchase of disability parking placards and special license plates.  Clarifies authority of enforcement officers to confiscate placards and special license plates for violations of requirements for manufacture, sale, purchase, or use.  Allows advanced practice registered nurses to make a determination regarding a person's mobility.  (HB696 HD2)

RELATING TO LOW-SPEED ELECTRIC BICYCLES.

Includes low-speed electric bicycles in the definition of bicycle.  Prohibits anyone under the age of eighteen from operating a low-speed electric bicycle.  Requires low-speed electric bicycles to be registered and implements a $30 registration fee.  (HB812 HD2)

RELATING TO STATE IDENTIFICATION CARDS.

Amends the mandatory inscription for civil identification cards to conform with the inscription currently in use.  (HB1053 HD1)

RELATING TO GENDER IDENTIFICATION.

Requires a license or state identification card to include a person's full legal name, date of birth, gender designation, residence address, and license number.  Specifies gender designation options of F, M, or X.  (HB1165 HD2)

RELATING TO VOTER REGISTRATION.

Makes inclusion of an affidavit application for voter registration mandatory for all driver's license and identification card applications.  Automatically registers each applicant who elects to register for voting.  Requires sharing of information among the counties, DOT, and election personnel.  (HB1217 HD1)
