RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

Requires certain new state building construction and county building construction projects to have at least twenty parking stalls that are electric vehicle charger ready and requires that all new state building construction and county building construction have at least two electric vehicle charger ready parking stalls.

Extends the repeal date of Act 168, Regular Session of 2012, from June 30, 2020, to June 30, 2030.

Requires rental motor vehicle lessors to incorporate zero-emission vehicles into their fleets.  Creates a Hawaii zero-emissions vehicle infrastructure special fund and grant program to promote development of zero-emission vehicle infrastructure.  Effective 1/1/2020.

RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES.

Requires that on or after January 1, 2020, all new residential multi-family buildings that have twenty or more parking stalls and new commercial buildings that have forty or more parking stalls have at least twenty-five per cent of available parking stalls be electric vehicle charger ready.
