Appropriates funds to the outreach program, rapid re-housing program, housing first program, family assessment centers, law enforcement assisted diversion program, and coordinated statewide homelessness initiative. Establishes and appropriates funds for a long-term rental assistance pilot program. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO OHANA ZONES. Increases the number of ohana zone sites on Oahu from 3 to 6. Increases the number of ohana zones on the islands of Hawaii, Kauai, and Maui, if the ohana zones pilot program capacity permits. Requires that additional information be included in the reports submitted no later than 20 days prior to the convening of the regular sessions of 2020 and 2021. Provides additional time for the implementation of the ohana zones pilot program. Appropriates funds to the Department of Human Services for the ohana zones pilot program. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;

· The date and time of the hearing; and

WEB: For testimony less than 20MB in size, transmit from http://www.capitol.hawaii.gov/submittestimony.aspx.
Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
