Establishes the Strategic Telehealth Advisory Council and permanent full-time equivalent State Telehealth Coordinator position. Establishes the telehealth administrative simplification working group to research, make recommendations, and report to the legislature. Appropriates funds. Repeals 1/1/2022. Effective 7/1/2050. RELATING TO THE UNIFORM CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES ACT. Updates section 329-38(i), Hawaii Revised Statutes, to be consistent with federal law under Title 21 of the Code of Federal Regulations to allow for the use of either words or figures to indicate quantity where electronic prescriptions are permitted. Updates section 329-22, Hawaii Revised Statutes, to conform Hawaii law with recent changes to the federal controlled substances law. (SD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;
· The date and time of the hearing; and
· Measure number.
While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.

Testimony submitted will be placed on the legislative website. This public posting of testimony on the website should be considered when including personal information in your testimony.
