RELATING TO CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE RESILIENCY. Establishes a Homeland Security and Resiliency Council to identify electric grid and other critical infrastructure needs and provide recommendations for enhancing the State's grid and critical infrastructure resiliency. RELATING TO APPLIANCE EFFICIENCY STANDARDS. Requires the public utilities commission and department of business, economic development, and tourism to adopt state appliance efficiency standards consistent with California's existing appliance efficiency standards. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

RELATING TO ELECTRIC VEHICLES. Requires electric vehicles to pay for unmetered fee parking when parked for any period longer than an initial 4 hours. Extends the repeal date of Act 168, Session Laws of Hawaii 2012, from 6/30/2020 to 6/30/2023. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD2)

RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR HAWAIIAN ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC.; MAUI ELECTRIC COMPANY, LIMITED; AND HAWAII ELECTRIC LIGHT COMPANY, INC. Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to assist Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc.; Maui Electric Company, Limited; and Hawaii Electric Light Company, Inc., to fund multi-project capital improvement programs and assist utilities serving the general public in providing electric energy. AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR MELE ASSOCIATES, INC., A RENEWABLE ENERGY DEVELOPER SERVING THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN PROVIDING ELECTRIC ENERGY. Authorizes the issuance of special purpose revenue bonds to Mele Associates, Inc., a renewable energy developer, for the provision of electric energy and installation of renewable energy projects in Hawaii. Effective 7/1/2050. (SD1)

DECISION MAKING TO FOLLOW
