RELATING TO MOVIE THEATERS.

Requires a movie theater to provide at least two showings per week per movie offered with open movie captioning.  Removes the option of a movie theater to provide eyewear to fulfill the movie captioning requirement.  Makes the requirement permanent by repealing the sunset date from Act 39, Session Laws of Hawaii 2015.  (HB1009 HD1)

RELATING TO EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES.

Authorizes the Department of Health to establish fees for transportation to medical facilities and for provision of emergency medical services that do not include transport.  Authorizes transportation by ambulance to medical facilities other than hospital emergency departments. (HB1453 HD1)

Requires full-service franchise restaurants to disclose their non-participation in national advertising campaigns that offer a promotion or discount with a sign at the entrance or storefront.  (HB760 HD2)

Clarifies that the requirement for a motor vehicle insurer to maintain a complete sales and claims service office does not apply to the county of Kalawao.

RELATING TO SPECIAL PURPOSE REVENUE BONDS FOR ELECTRIC PUBLIC UTILITIES.

Authorizes special purpose revenue bonds for Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. and its subsidiaries Maui Electric Company and Hawaii Electric Light Company for multi-project capital improvement programs.  (HB1319 HD2)
