RELATING TO REBUILT VEHICLES. Expands the definition of "rebuilt vehicle" to include vehicles that have been rebuilt after flood damage and material damage to the vehicle's electronics. (HB270 HD1)

RELATING TO MUTUAL ASSISTANCE AGREEMENT. Authorizes the State and electrical utilities to enter into a mutual assistance agreement with an out-of-state utility to assist in the restoration of electrical power following a natural disaster or emergency. (HB1305 HD1)

RELATING TO CONTRACTORS. Raises the threshold under the contractor licensing law's handyman exemption from $1,000 to $1,500 and makes it applicable only to the cost of labor.

RELATING TO COFFEE LABELING. Requires coffee blend labels to disclose regional origins and percent by weight of the blended coffees. Prohibits using geographic origins of coffee in labeling or advertising for roasted or instant coffee that contains less than 51 percent coffee by weight from that geographic origin.

RELATING TO ENERGY EFFICIENCY. Requires the Department of Business, Economic Development, and Tourism to adopt state appliance efficiency standards. (HB556 HD1)

RELATING TO PUBLIC ACCOUNTANCY. Establishes procedures and eligibility criteria for a privilege to practice public accountancy in this State for public accountants and certified public accountants licensed in another state with comparable education, examination, and experience requirements. Subjects all holders of a privilege to practice to the regulatory and enforcement jurisdiction of the Board of Accountancy. (HB1109 HD1)

RELATING TO CONSUMER PROTECTION. Requires full-service franchise restaurants to disclose their non-participation in national advertising campaigns that offer a promotion or discount with a sign at the entrance or storefront, unless the franchisor's advertisement states that the discount or promotion does not apply to the franchisee's restaurant.
