RELATING TO INVASIVE SPECIES.

Clarifies that state, county, and authorized agents have authority to enter private property to control and eradicate invasive species when there is a reasonable suspicion that invasive species are present on the property.  (HB201 HD1)

RELATING TO FOOD SAFETY.

Requires and appropriates funds to the Department of Agriculture to partner with the Hawaii agriculture community to establish a food safety certification training program to assist small to medium sized farms to comply with the United States Department of Agriculture Good Agricultural Practices Certification Program.  (HB463 HD1)

RELATING TO AGRICULTURE.

Requires the Department of Agriculture to establish a 2-year Agricultural Theft and Vandalism Pilot Project to examine the effectiveness of prosecuting agricultural theft and agricultural vandalism cases in the County of Hawaii.  Appropriates funds.  (HB1503 HD2)
