A BILL FOR AN ACT
RELATING TO CAPITAL IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE SEventh REPRESENTATIVE DISTRICT.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF HAWAII:
SECTION 1. The following sums, or so much thereof as shall be sufficient to finance the projects listed in this Act, are hereby appropriated out of the general revenues of the State of Hawaii for fiscal year 2019-2020:
1. To be expended by the department of agriculture:
A. Kona agricultural park, Hawaii
Plans, design, and construction to connect the R-1 county water lines to the park; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

2. To be expended by the department of education:
A. Kanu o ka ‘Aina new century public charter school, Hawaii

B. Kohala elementary school, Hawaii

3. To be expended by the department of health:
A. Puako wastewater collection system, Hawaii
Plans and design for a new wastewater collection system; and ground and site improvements.

4. To be expended by the department of land and natural resources:
A. North Kona game management habitat, Hawaii
Construction for a 92-acre fence on the cone at Pu‘u Wa‘awa‘a forest reserve to protect two native endangered plant species, and mitigate for the loss of ten or more additional native endangered plant species, which would enhance game mammal populations and provide for improved hunting opportunities; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

Plans and design for a parking mitigation plan including a parking area and restroom facilities; ground and site improvements; and equipment and appurtenances.

5. To be expended by the department of transportation:
A. Daniel K. Inouye highway, Hawaii

6. To be expended by the university of Hawaii:

SECTION 2. The sums appropriated for the respective capital projects set forth in section 1 shall be expended by the designated expending agency for the purposes of this Act.
SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect on July 1, 2019.
