RELATING TO MENTAL
HEALTH. Provides designated
family members and other interested persons with notice when an individual
with a mental health emergency is subject to certain procedures and
actions. Provides designated family
members and other interested persons with the right to be present for the
individual's hearings and receive a copy of the hearing transcript or
recording unless the court determines otherwise. Requires a court to adjourn
or continue a hearing for failure to timely notify a person entitled to be
notified or for failure by the individual to contact an attorney, with

RELATING TO EXPERT
WITNESS FEES. Clarifies the allowable
fees for reimbursing expert witnesses who are legally required to attend
state court or grand jury criminal proceedings. (SB2172 HD1) |

RELATING TO EQUAL PAY. Prohibits prospective
employers from requesting or considering a job applicant's wage or salary
history as part of an employment application process or compensation
offer. Prohibits enforced wage secrecy

ELECTRONIC DEVICES. Clarifies that found
electronic devices that may contain personal information shall be sanitized
