RELATING TO AGRICULTURE. Appropriates funds to the Department of Agriculture for surveying, testing, and treating rat lungworm disease in animals and for researching, developing, and supporting aquaponics. (HB1688 HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH. Establishes a three-year pilot program to create a new category of professional licensure for assistant physicians, through which recent medical school graduates who have passed certain medical exams but have not been placed into a residency program may work under the supervision of a licensed physician to provide primary care in medically underserved areas. RELATING TO ENERGY. Requires benchmarking for all nonresidential buildings. Resulting benchmarking data will be disclosed to a prospective buyer, lessee, or lender. (HB1841 HD1)

RELATING TO MARINE EVENTS. Requires the Department of Land and Natural Resources to allow applications for marine event permits up to one year in advance and to adopt rules to mitigate hazards posed by vessels, thrill craft, drones, and other means used by spectators to observe or record marine events. Requires a report to the 2019 Legislature.
