RELATING TO MOTOR VEHICLE INSURANCE.

Changes personal injury protection benefits under the motor vehicle insurance law from a required coverage to a required optional coverage for active duty military personnel stationed in the State.

RELATING TO COUNTY TRANSIT ORIENTED DEVELOPMENT INFRASTRUCTURE.

Establishes the county infrastructure development loan revolving fund within department of budget and finance to provide no‑interest loans to the counties for the development, pre‑development, or construction of infrastructure projects to expedite the building of transit-oriented development, particularly those involving affordable housing.

RELATING TO CARGO INSPECTIONS.

Permits the establishment of a pilot program to use dogs to inspect incoming cargo for illegal fireworks and explosives, after the cargo has been transported from the harbors.

RELATING TO ABANDONED VEHICLES.

Requires the counties to remove and dispose of abandoned vehicles on public roads within ten business days.

RELATING TO FOUND ELECTRONIC DEVICES.

Clarifies that found electronic devices that may contain personal information shall be sanitized before providing the unclaimed property to finders or disposing of the property by public auction or other means.
