RELATING TO THE SUPERVISION OF LICENSED DENTAL HYGIENISTS IN A PUBLIC HEALTH SETTING. Allows licensed dental hygienists to practice under the general or direct supervision of any licensed dentist providing dental services in a public health setting.

RELATING TO THE SHARING OF VITAL STATISTICS RECORDS WITH DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH PROGRAM EMPLOYEES FOR APPROVED RESEARCH PURPOSES. Authorizes the Department of Health to disclose public health statistics records internally within the Department of Health for approved research purposes. Permits the Department of Health to disclose information from a public health statistics record for the purpose of contacting persons identified in the record to request further information. If consent is obtained, additional information from the record may be disclosed. Information may also be disclosed when the Department's institutional review committee determines that obtaining consent is impracticable and the public health purpose outweighs the confidentiality interest in the record.

RELATING TO HOMELESSNESS. Establishes the Ohana Zone Pilot Program. Defines the intent of the pilot program, and sets preliminary milestones that shall be met by the Department of Human Services in establishing the pilot program. Appropriates funds.

RELATING TO HUMAN SERVICES. Proposed HD1: Requires the Department of Human Services to use an integrated and multigenerational approach to delivering human services to reduce the incidence of intergenerational poverty and dependence on public benefits

RELATING TO CESSPOOLS. Requires the department of health to coordinate with each county water department to establish a low interest loan program for the upgrade or conversion of cesspools in each county to septic systems, aerobic treatment unit systems, for connection to an existing sewer system, or other wastewater treatment system approved by the department. RELATING TO CESSPOOLS. Requires that the existence of any cesspool on real property be considered a material fact and be included in a seller's disclosure statement if disclosure of the existence of a cesspool on real property is determined to be mandatory. (HB2573 HD1)

RELATING TO CESSPOOLS. Requires the Department of Health to hire a third-party consultant to conduct a study on the issues relating to the upgrade or conversion of cesspools. Establishes the cesspool conversion working group to assist the third-party consultant on the study. (HB2626 HD1)

RELATING TO UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANKS. Requires, on or before 9/1/2018, that the Department of Health adopt rules for underground storage tanks and tank systems to conform with certain federal regulations and that include additional requirements for field-constructed underground storage tanks and tank systems. RELATING TO HEALTH. Establishes a study group within the Department of Health to develop a pilot program to address contamination relating to waste-water, cesspools, and shore waters at Puako. (HB2732 HD1)

RELATING TO HEALTH CARE. Appropriates funds to improve the health care services related to cardiac care at Kona community hospital, including the construction of a hybrid catheterization lab and operating room and funding of cardiology staff positions to alleviate the lack of care.

RELATING TO INTERPRETER SERVICES. Appropriates moneys for interpreter services to be rendered during the Deaf and Blind Task Force's monthly meetings.

RELATING TO HEALTH. Authorizes a pharmacy to provide a customized patient medication package to any patient of an institutional facility or any member of the general public, subject to certain conditions. Effective 7/1/2018.
