RELATING TO CHILD SAFETY. Authorizes child abuse and neglect reports for incidents occurring in group child care homes or group child care centers to be disclosed to parents or guardians of children enrolled in the home or center at the time of the alleged abuse or neglect or to parents or guardians considering enrolling their children in the home or center. Authorizes the disclosure of a report involving a finding of a felony or misdemeanor to be disclosed to any person upon request.

RELATING TO CHILDREN'S HEALTH CARE. Creates a three-year pilot program to expand availability of health care services coverage for infants and children living in Hawaii. Appropriates funds.

RELATING TO EDUCATION. Creates and appropriates funds for Erin's Law Task Force to review policies, programs, and curricula for educating public school students about sexual abuse and sex trafficking prevention, and report recommendations for the establishment of a program to educate public school children on sexual abuse prevention through age appropriate curricula. RELATING TO TROPIC CARE. Appropriates funds for the Tropic Care program of the United States Department of Defense to provide free medical care to individuals in rural areas.

RELATING TO PRESCHOOLS. Makes housekeeping amendments to remove preschools from the Superintendent's scope of authority and to clarify that the Executive Office on Early Learning Director may authorize preschool personnel access to a student's immunization registry information. (HB2507 HD1)

RELATING TO INCOME TAX CREDIT. Provides an income tax credit to a taxpayer who purchases or modifies a personal vehicle for use by a person with a disability. Applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 2018.

RELATING TO HEALTH. Proposed HD1: Intellectural and Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver Administrative Claiming Special Fund.

RELATING TO MEDICAL CANNABIS. Establishes the medical cannabis insurance reimbursement working group to address the complexities surrounding the topic of making medical cannabis reimbursable by health insurance.

RELATING TO THE TRANSIENT ACCOMMODATIONS TAX. Allocates funds from transient accommodations tax revenues to the Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA) to implement initiatives, in conjunction with the Hawaii Lodging and Tourism Association, to address homelessness in tourist and resort areas. Requires HTA to report to the Legislature. (HB2012 HD1)

Persons wishing to offer comments should submit testimony at least 24 hours prior to the hearing. Testimony should indicate:
· Testifier's name with position/title and organization;
· The Committee(s) to which the comments are directed;
· The date and time of the hearing; and
· Measure number.
While every effort will be made to incorporate all testimony received, materials received on the day of the hearing or improperly identified or directed, may be distributed to the Committee after the hearing.
